The name "Pacha" is synonymous with Ibiza. The group itself has over 20 clubs all around the globe. Pacha is the only major club that remains open all year round in Ibiza. It’s open everyday in summer and then on Friday and Saturday nights during the winter. It doesn’t have to rely on summer tourist season for trade.
This club is massive. It has 15 bars and some spectacular terraces that overlook Ibiza town. It even has a restaurant, sushi bar and a shop. As you can imagine, it’s very easy to get lost. But never mind, there’s always lots of pretty girls hanging around who can show you the way.
The clientele are very cosmopolitan. They range from Ibcencos and hippies to millionaires. There aren’t really that many tourists here. You’ll find the minority on the peripherals of the dance floors watching the non stop madness. Most people prefer the steps beside the DJ console in the main room. On the dance floor itself, it’s mayhem. Everyone is completely absorbed; wrapped up in the music and oblivious to everything else.
The professional dancers are stunning. They dance on giant podiums above the dance floor. All the young girls are in awe of them, and all the blokes drool over them.
There is a huge VIP area in the main room at Pacha. where all the dancers, the “who’s who” and local dignitaries retreat to after hours. This is normally the only part of the club that you can actually move about freely in. The rest is too packed - you have to shuffle endlessly through the crowds. Sometimes the only solution is to pretend you’re a billionaire, supermodel or a famous celebrity - best of luck!
